Bob Antonioni's 24th ride in the pan mass challenge

Cancer does not rest. Cancer is relentless, showing no favorites. Wealthy or poor, male or female, young or old. It doesn't discriminate.

On August 5th and 6th, I will participate in the 38th annual Pan-Massachusetts Challenge (PMC*), cycling 192 miles from Sturbridge to Provincetown. This will be my 24th annual ride in support of the Jimmy Fund and the Dana Farber Cancer Institute.

This year I ride for a courageous father and daughter and their struggle with cancer. Please read the amazing story of Stephanie Corliss and her father, Joseph Corliss.

I have committed to raise at least $4,800.00 in honor of Stephanie and Joseph. I am asking that you consider donating this year to the PMC in the name of my "Pedal Partners". You can donate by going on line to http://www.pmc.org/egifts/BA0003, (my eGift id is BA0003), or by sending a check made out to the PMC/Jimmy Fund, and mailing the same to my attention at the following address: Bob Antonioni/PMC, 119 Merriam Avenue, Leominster, MA 01453.

Many of you have been supporting me over the past 23 PMC rides (4,416 miles) and with your help, I truly believe we can make a difference.

I am grateful for any help you can give. Thank you!

Bob Antonioni

* The PMC is an annual bike-a-thon that raises more money for charity than any other single event in the country. In 2016, the PMC raised $47 million for the Jimmy Fund and the Dana Farber Cancer Institute. The PMC generates more than 52% of the Jimmy Fund's annual revenue, and it is Dana-Farber's single largest contributor. . Donations to my PMC ride will help cancer patients by supporting life-saving cancer research and treatment at the Dana-Farber Cancer Institute (DFCI) in Boston, MA. Every dollar you donate to the PMC goes directly to fight cancer: The PMC donates 100 percent of every rider-raised dollar directly to the Dana Farber Cancer Institute.
