Attorney Robert A. Antonioni has been in the active practice of law in the City of Leominster since 1983. He is a 1980 graduate of The College of the Holy Cross in Worcester, MA and a 1983 graduate with honors from the New England School of Law in Boston, MA. Bob has concentrated his practice in the field of civil litigation, with a special emphasis on divorce and family law, guardianship law, personal injury and Workers' Compensation. Bob appears in the Probate and Family Court on a regular basis, and is known to attorneys and judges in that court as an experienced litigator. He has counseled hundreds of clients with difficult and emotional issues relating to divorce, custody and visitation, child support, alimony, paternity, modifications and contempts. Bob also represents area health care institutions in guardianship proceedings, and frequently advises private clients in the field of guardianship and conservatorship law. He has prepared a written guide for clients and health care institutions to help families sort through the confusing and difficult process of caring for an elder who is no longer readily able to care for himself or herself. Bob also frequently represents clients in area courts who have suffered difficult injuries from an automobile accident, pedestrian or slip and fall accident, and work-related injuries before the Industrial Accident Board (Workers' Compensation).
Bob has also served as state Senator for the Fitchburg, Leominster and Gardner region for the past 17 years, and previously as state Representative for Leominster and portions of Fitchburg and Lunenburg. He is presently the Senate chairman of the Legislature's Education, Arts and Humanities Committee. Bob is familiar not only with the application of the law, but also with the complex problems which gave rise to the need for legislation to provide clients and their families with recourse to the courts.
