After serving in the Air Force for four years as an aircraft mechanic and graduating with honors from Keene State College, Robert attended and graduated New England Law in Boston, MA in 2008. He has been actively practicing law in the City of Leominster since 2008.

Attorney Mason has developed special skills in negotiating contested matters such as:

  • mediating highly contested divorces and estate matters;
  • negotiating settlements and insurance companies;
  • executing the powers of a personal representative for estate administration and management; to include corresponding and negotiating with the various agencies of the Commonwealth and the Internal Revenue Service;
  • preparation of wills, power of attorney and healthcare proxies;
  • deed preparation;
  • settling guardianship disputes through direct negotiation with the Department of Children and Families.

Robert Mason has concentrated his practice of law on litigation through the probate court, housing court, and resolving Workers' Compensation matters through the Department of Industrial Accidents.

Litigation concentration has involved:

  • divorce, custody/visitation;
  • resolving child support disputes directly with the parties and probate judge and/of Department of Revenue;
  • contempt and modification complaints;
  • complex guardianship/conservatorship matters;
  • representing litigants, landlord and tenant alike, in the housing court;
  • representing injured employees for Workers' Compensation matters before the Department of Industrial Accidents.
